| .About the NDHL |
The Nipissing District Hockey League offers league play at the Rep and District League level. The NDHL is comprised of the minor hockey associations from East Nipissing, French River, Mattawa, North Bay, Powassan, Temiscaming, Tri-Towns, Verner, Warren/Markstay and West Nipissing. The goal of the Nipissing District Hockey League (NDHL) is to promote, govern, encourage, develop and improve minor hockey by offering a program that is affordable to any person wishing to participate, encourage equal opportunity for all participants, supervise and direct all members, supporters, and teams. To offer a program that will provide the essential skills an leadership so that the participants can compete at a level suitable to their skills and needs. One Vote Per Association League play is governed by the constitution and bylaws of the NDHL. Each member association is represented at the NDHL monthly meetings and each association has one vote in the processes of the NDHL. The member associations of the NDHL are: East Nipissing Minor Hockey (Vipers) French River Minor Hockey Mattawa Minor Hockey (Rockets) North Bay and District Girls Powassan Minor Hockey (Hawks) West Nipissing Minor Hockey (Stings) Temiscaming Minor Hockey (Royals) Verner Minor Hockey Warren/Markstay Minor Hockey (Wolves) West Ferris Minor Hockey New Liskeard Midget Lions Englehart Minor Hockey Temiskaming Shores Minor Hockey (Puckhounds) Rep League Teams from various member associations compete for the Rep League Championships at Novice, Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget levels. |
